"Because of Dr.Karen, I know my son won't slip through the cracks and will get the support he needs in school.” Sharon G.

Hi, I'm Karen, an educational advocate!
I’ve been an advocate with Advocate to Educate since 2021.
I am a mom, wife, and was the legal guardian for my uncle who had an intellectual disability. Throughout my lifetime, I have been surrounded by family and friends with various disabling conditions. Over my career, I have trained, mentored, and supervised hundreds of school psychologists across three local districts and at Loyola Marymount University. For over three decades, my passion and experience has driven me to create inclusive and equitable educational environments that capitalize on student strengths while genuinely supporting every student’s individualized needs.
